Teaching and Learning

Religious Education
Pupils follow the Cumbria Agreed Syllabus, which is designed to foster a reflective approach to living by understanding the nature of religious beliefs and practices together with an understanding of the influences of these on the lives of the believers.  Christian beliefs are studied alongside other major world religions, which we believe is essential in preparing students for life in a multi-cultural society.
